A message from Sheeps:
"Right! I don’t wanna catch anybody referring to us as ‘elder statesmen of sketch comedy’ or a ‘fringe institution’ or anything like that in articles. We’re not THAT old, it’s just most people stop doing sketch comedy before they hit 30. These people - let’s be quite clear - are cowards.
All these frigging stand-ups, going onstage being themselves. You should be ashamed. Come out and hide behind a character or two - that takes real courage!
If even one person refers to us as ‘the old guard’ or anything even slightly like that, in a national newspaper, I will find you, I will turn up outside your door, with two bottles of (lovely) wine and I won’t be leaving until we’ve seen them both away and had a nice evening chatting this thing through OR you’ve asked me to leave (your house, your rules!)”
